How to set SEF url using mod_write for joomla

1.If you are running  site on apache, you need to make sure that mod_rewrite is enabled on your server

2. To enable SEF URL’s is to rename the “.htaccess.txt” file into “.htaccess”

3.In  administrator panel, click on Site->Global Configuration

4.Next, click the “SEO” tab.

5.Set Search Engine Friendly URLs  to Yes, and click the “Save”

6.Now SEF URL’s is enabled.
